Institute Council
The Institute Council is the governing body of Australian Institute of Technology and Commerce. The Council makes decisions in relation to policies and planning, exercises general monitoring and oversight of the institute’s operation in accordance with the regulations and compliance requirements outlined to Education Providers.

Warren Bradey
BEc, MBA, FCA, FAICD
Warren has more than 20 years’ experience in knowledge and technology transfer, having led commercialisation businesses at UNSW and ANSTO, and as CEO of two CRCs. He has founded three early-stage venture capital funds, which supported multiple start-ups, resulting in four companies listing on Australian and European stock exchanges and returning $AU200M+ to investors and founding entrepreneurs. Most recently he was Head of New Ventures at CSIRO/Data61 and Chief Commercial Officer for ASX listed spin-out company, IXUP Ltd.

Dr Mathew Hillier

Dr Mathew Hillier currently works as an e-Examinations Academic in the office of the Pro Vice Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) at Macquarie University. He is an adjunct academic at Monash University, University of Tasmania, University of Canberra, Co-chair of e-Assessment special interest group under Australasian society for computers in learning in tertiary education. He has 22 years’ experience in higher education teaching and research, as well as 10 years in academic professional development and support roles with a focus on e-assessment/e-exams and academic integrity.

The Academic Board
The Academic Board is the academic governing body of the Institute, creating an important separation of powers between the Governing Council and the Academic Board. The Academic Board has the primary responsibility and the necessary delegated power to review, monitor and approve the academic policies and academic programs in compliance with the academic standards and quality assurance, monitor and assess the effective implementation of all academic procedures.

Mr. Anthony Kadi

Anthony Kadi is currently a senior lecturer (education focused) and Director of Professional Practice in the Faculty of Engineering, Sydney University. He has a long standing interest and focus on engineering eduction, particularly in professional practice. He has developed and implemented the Professional Engagement Program, a compulsory component of all undergraduate engineering degree programs at Sydney University. He holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering, majoring in telecommunications; a coursework masters degree in telecommunication engineering and a graduate certificate in educational studies, higher education. He is also a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.

Dr Kathryn Heather Egea is a Senior Lecturer and First and Further Year Experience Coordinator (UTS), she was a Senior Researcher (Faculty of Engineering and IT at UTS – FEIT (2010-2012), Senior Lecturer (UQ- School of Information technology and Electrical Engineering -ITEE) (2008-2009), Professional member of Australian computer society, and involved in ACS committees:
• 2009-2010, elected ACS QLD Board Executive Committee
• 2012-2015 elected ACS NSW Board Executive Committee
• ACSW national board member (2009-2010; 2012-2015)
• Chair and deputy chair, ACS women NSW 2012-2015;

A.Prof Jun Shen

Jun Shen is currently an Associate Professor at University of Wollongong. He held positions including visiting professorship at Swinburne University of Technology, University of South Australia, Georgia Institute of Technology and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is Senior Member of both IEEE and ACM and has served as panel member of ACM/AIS MSIS 2016 curriculum review team since 2014. He has published 250 plus academic papers in computer applications in multiple disciplines. He is a HDR coordinator and a member of reference group of UOW’s workload committee. He is also academic program director of BIT and MICT advanced.

Associate Professor Chandana Prasad Withana

Dr Chandana is an Associate Professor in Information Technology/Computing and holds Adjunct Associate Professorships at Charles Sturt University, Australia, and at the University of Da Nang, Vietnam. His career as an IT professional spans more than 30 years in IT organisations and at universities in Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka. As an active researcher in the areas of computer architecture, digital systems, modeling and simulation, Dr Chandana has published more than 250 research articles and co-authored two books published by Prentice Hall. His commitment to fostering a research culture among IT master’s degree students has over the past five years resulted in the publication of more than 150 student papers either in Q1 and Q2 journals or presented at international conferences, including the annual IEEE International Conference on Innovative Technologies in Intelligent Systems and Industrial Applications (CITISIA) for which Dr Chandana has been a co-chair since its inception seven years ago. He is a senior member of IEEE, the IACSIT Association, and the IEDRC Research Centre.
